An Update!!

I'm super excited about our 3-day weekend!! I hope to get crafty this weekend but I think I'll have to push it to Monday!! There have been so many things going on that I haven't had time to update my lonely blog!! 

The DT and I have been working to get you those challenges although it's going a bit slow with word from our sponsors! Those challenges will start at January 31st.

I've been following Bugaboo, a digi shop and, as many of you already know, they are turning 1!!! They also have a fabulous blog hop going on for the week!! They have challenges everyday with amazing prizes!!! 

I went a head and made some little inchies for their challenges! I found inchies and I've been making them with all my scraps!! Since they have only one day or so to enter and they gave the challenges out already, I will schedule a post for the days my little inches can qualify for. I also have some other standard sized cards to share with you!! 

Just wanted to share an update on things!

The New Year and {finally} Some Cards!!

                            Hope you had a fabulous day or stating one!

     Well this is a bit late but Happy New Year!! I hope you had a fun time and a great 2011!! I can't believe all the wonderful people out there who support me so much!! You all are fabulous!!! Now, here are two cards I made a while back but haven't posted yet:

This one I made the day after Christmas! I drew the image and colored it with colored pencils and matted it on some brown cardstock and the whole base is white. I used some left over patterned paper. You see something missing?? Well, I haven't thought of the sentiment yet so I left it there. Any ideas? Would love to hear them!! Oh, and here is the challenge that both are entered in:
 Catch the Bug- Anything Goes.

This next one also is drawn by {me} and matted on brown cardstock, also on white too. So these two are almost the same but I switched some stuff around! That paper is the same left over from before. I'm thinking of not putting a sentiment but still thinking..... This is also the Catch the Bug challenge but I don't think that Inklinkz will let me do it with the same post so......

Also, a little share of a Christmas tag I made for a few of the gifts:

Super simple and that flower is made from paper out of and magazine! Yep, great place to find patterns, especially those home decor ones!

Hey guys! 

I hope you've finished getting ready for the holidays to just relax! My dad and I got back from some last minute shopping for some friends! We also got a tennis racket for me! I'm hoping to learn soon! 

On another note, though I don't have anything to share with you :(, the winners from CHALLENGE 11 need to email me soooooooon! If not by the 26th, I will chose/draw another winner!

I just found out a while ago that I received this award! This is my first so I'm super duper excited!! The wonderful Debra from Twisted Monkey Scraps chose me and I hope you hop over there and give her a visit! From her blog, I got these rules!:

So, the 8 things about me:

1. I like to play soccer! I'm on a girl's soccer team and it's absolutely fun fun fun!!  The tournament is starting soon and I'm super excited!!

2.  I am the type of person who needs to see it to use it! When ever I have my supplies out, I craft alot more! When I organize them and put them away, I rarely do much. But now, I got a vintage looking tin and I put my must supplies in there and it getting better. Sorta. I found it in a garage sale near us for 75 cents!! I'm gonna get a pic soon!

3. I love miniature things!It can be anything! I just think they are super super cute!

4.  I'm not sure what to call it but I love all things that takes notes! Either a notebook or a post-it! I saw at JCPenny, a notepad that was super cool! It has a list like "DO TODAY" and at the bottom there would be a a check list that said " Completed,  Kinda did, and Maybe Tomorrow". I think they are super fun!

5. I enjoy technology. I like finding programs like Blogger and playing around with them! A lot of times there is a help area and I usually go there if I don't know how to do something. When we got a Macbook, there were lots of fun programs like Garage Band that are super fun to use!

6.  I love to draw as you might of known! It lead me to crafting and all sorts so I'm definitely not stopping!

7. I love living here in Seattle! The weathers great ( in my opinion, especially the snow!) and it rains a lot but it's never too much until it floods and it hasn't since I was here!  I just love the area where I live and there is a park right across the street! Fun fun fun!

8.  Another ' I love' is vintage! I just recently discovered how much I love vintage after finding a way to make anything (almost) vintage looking and since I love to look at old photos and such, it makes me happy to make say brand new white cardstock into a 30 year old looking paper! Love it!

Can you tell that I'm using the word " super" a lot?  I just noticed that.

Turkey. Yum.

Turkey. Pie. Potatoes. Turkey.

I was full full full yesterday! We had some friends over and they stayed till 11 pm! I was hoping to sleep a little early as black Friday was tomorrow! So I slept at 11:30 and woke up at 6:30 am! Ran out the door to Target and bought. They open at 4 am so we weren't in the huge line! Well we got a toaster ( our old one broke a while ago and we haven't gotten a new one since!), a coffee maker ( my mom) and a few others! We just got home a while ago and the snow cleared last night! All gone! Not a trace of it! :(

It's also my 'Thanksgiving Break' this week so I got some cards done! I haven't much time to just make cards in a long time!

Seeing as 2 Sketches 4 You has a new sketch, I decided to play along! I didn't make it in time but it was still fun!

It might of been a Hero Arts stamp for the butterfly but I'm not sure. The paper is from Making Memories and I used the la doily punch from Martha Stewart.
