Basic Grey Thanks

Hey peeps!
Edited: I just found out that this is my 100th post! YAY!
How's your weekend going? Ours is a lazy one!

On my trip to Victoria, we passed a Micheal's and because it's so far away {like an hour away!}, I got to look around!

While my mom was shopping at Costco, my dad took me in! It was my first time in a Micheal's so I was overly excited! They had all the new stuff! We got some papers, an alphabet stamp, and a Ferris wheel for a penny! A penny!!

Now, getting on to the card, I used some of my new Basic Grey papers and the alpha stamps! This card was a bit too simple for me but I like it!!

And I'm entering it in these challenge:
Party Time Tuesdays-Anything Goes
Some Odd Girl-Thanks You
Catered Crop-red, white, green, blue, gray,sentiment,doodling/drawing
Have a great day!

My trip to Victoria! {photo heavy!}

Hey everybody!

Remember when I told you I went to Victoria for awhile? {nod your heads:)} Well here are some photos of the awesome city!

Victoria is on Vancouver Island so there are harbors and beaches, and lots of water!

And that's the little ferry we road in around the harbor!
In the pic above, they have buskers there that do amazing things! And here's one picture of a very funny show right above the harbor:

One of the funnest part was going to Miniature world!  Everything is super tiny yet very realistic too!

And, oh my, the Buchart gardens! Amazing flowers from all over the world! I'll stop talking{typing} and let you see for your self!

 ANT!

This flower reminds me so much of the resin flower Kelly Marie made!

Have a great day!

Smile at the Camera!

Hello everybody!
I hope your having a fantastic week! Nothing happening much except and orthodontics appointment and some movie watching!{but no popcorn :( }

Got into the doodling mood recently and that lead to making a card {of course!} sooooo, take a look!
I played around with that ribbon a billion, bajillion times!! And redid that camera's clicker-thingy just the same to make it line up! When I finally felt good about it, I starting doing that line of 'postage stamps' and you might guess; it took a while {I could list a few more things that took a while too- like cutting that circle after tracing the cap of a Nutella bottle!} I'm happy with it now! And now that I think about it, I can say that after all that thinking and fiddling, all of the supplies were miscellanies!

Enough of my rambling and such, did you here about the summer cha starting? I feel like there are so many in a year that I can't keep up! It's too far to go but I looove looking at all the great stuff! Anything you like particularly?

Have a great day!

Oh, and the challenges!

Red Dandelions!

Happy Thursday!!

Hope your all having a great week so far! Nothing much is going on around here{especially the blog!} so I'll share a card I made just recently!

Those are supposed to be red dandelions with a bird on top {even though I've never seen one}! :) Some attempted sewing on the borders...not too great! The paper ripped a bit but I covered it up! Border punch is Martha Stewart's and patterned paper is Making Memories!

Have a fabulous day!

Sending Smiles Your Way!

Happy summer everyone! Schools out and can't wait for more sunshine!
To help add a little sunshine here in the pacific northwest, I'll share a card I made a few days ago!

At first, I just had spare cardstock that I stamped on with the Sending Smiles set from Hero Arts! I colored it all in and did a few paper pieces here and there!

Then, my mom in need of a nice "good luck" card,  layered my stamped paper onto some purple cardstock and then onto a white card base. I did the same thing with the inside of the card but left the top layer blank. Really fast card, might be the fastest I've ever made! This should received right about...now! :)

Challenge: Catered Crop; red, orange, yellow, green, grass, dimensional adhesives
Have a great day!
