MSS Number Four

Hey hey!

Sorry this week's MSS is kinda late! My family had a party with some of our friends and I got a cat-sitting job this summer!

This week, it was my friend's birthday so along with her present (and a card of course!) I made a little plushie toy!

She thought it was adorable and I do too!

Thanks for joining me this week and don't forget to comment with a link if you made anything today!

Hello Friend Rosie

Hey there!

Today I wanna share with you a card I made using the latest MSS creation.

This card is pretty self-explanatory. The main image is Rosie from Purple Onion Designs. I also added the same paper on the inside and stamped the image and sentiment as well. This bunny is so cute!

I'm entering this adorable card into

Thanks so much for joining me and have a great day!

MSS Number Three

Happy Sunday!

I'm here today with another MSS! This week, I got some new stamps from Purple Onion Designs and I couldn't wait to play with them!

I just inked up one of the stamps and colored her in! It was super sun and because this was my first time using unmounted stamps, I used this tip since I didn't have any mounting stuff handy. Colored it using Prisma pencils and cut her out. You'll probably see a card featuring this little guy but I haven't figured out the sketch yet. Stay tuned!

Ans as always, I would love it if you left a comment with a link or just say what you made today!

Have a great day!

Keep in Touch Rainbow

Hey there!

Had a creative slowdown this week and force myself to make a card! After I finished this card, a package of stamps from Purple Onion Designs came in the mail and now my head is full of ideas! I'll share the card that I'll make ASAP!

Inked up the background with a purple ink pad and stamped with the same ink this stamp over and over. Water colored a scrap with a rainbow, added a piece of patterned paper, and added my image and vola! And, the sentiment is from this set from my package of stamps as well!

I'm entering this card into Great Impressions' and Truly Scrumptious' Anything goes challenges.

Hope you have an amazing day and I'm off to play with my new stamps!

MSS Number Two

Happy Sunday!

Today I have another MSS for you guys!

This week I made a door hanger of the like and I love the color combo!

I covered a piece of cardboard with patterned paper and die cut the letters in "art". I hot glued them over a little snip of ruffle trim from Recollections and add some flowers (also from Recollections). Them I used a handle from one of those shopping bags an hot glued that on as well but just in the back. :)

I hoped you liked it and please leave a comment with something you made today and you may just win a tiny prize!

Have a great day!

Iris

p.s. Make sure to check out my new card post below!

Thanks Pink Cupcake

Hey guys!

Sorry about not posting last week! Hope you are enjoying your Mother's Day!

Today I have a card share that I made a long time ago! I used some Tim Holtz papers for the background and some really old Making Memories paper for the stripes. The flower behind the cupcake is from Hero Arts and I stamped it in some red ink. The rhinestones in the corners are from Recollections.

And you may notice that, what's that surrounding the card? Oh yeah, snow! No no, there isn't snow here in the Pacific Northwest but like I said, this card was made a long time ago!

Thanks for joining me!

Something New-MSS Number One

Hey guys!

So you know how I'm gonna try to post more (more as in at least once a week)? Well, I an idea for a series!

This series is called Make Something Sunday or MSS where I make something on Sunday! :) It will be anything, from food to something new that I've tried, etc. and it'll be in addition to my weekly (or hopefully weekly) card/project!

This week, I made a...

Faux Die Cut! I loved the look of a sentiment being cut from paper instead of stamped, glued, or any other way to add words to projects. So, I tried to make my own since I don't have a die cut machine so I used an X-acto knife to cut out the words! I kinda ruined the "you are amazing"one as that was my first attempt. The second, the "hello" turned out much better! I don't know what I'll do with these but you just might see it on a future card. Maybe. :)

So now it's your turn! If you made anything or posted anything on this Sunday, leave a link in the comments below and there might just be a tiny winy, itsy bitsy little prize for a random participant!

Have a wonderful Sunday and make something!

Just For You, It's a Bear with Dandelion!

Hey hey!

Keeping with my post-something-at-least-once-a-week goal, I have another card to share with you!

This time, I was inspired by the talented Alice Wertz and I was inspired by how her main image thing took up most of the card with a sentiment and some patterned paper! So that's what I did, or tried to do! Love this card but the photo doesn't do it justice!

I drew something bigger than usual and adds a sentiment piece. I covered the base with some DP and added some pink brads to the corners. Added a bit of ribbon and that's it!

This is good for Catered Crop's "b" challenge ( there is blue, a bear, brads, and a butterfly!) and

Have a great day and I'll be back with something new!
