hey look, there's a new post! you should read it.

Hello.

I don't think anyone's here right now. I've checked the stats and all there is are zeros. If you're here that might mean you thought you'd just check up on me, make sure I'm alright. Thanks. I'm okay. Or, you might just be lost. Hello anyways.

If you know how to scroll, you'll notice that my last post was on August 14, just about two months ago. I'm still making cards, I even made a whole mini album capturing the summer. It's just that I've realized I love memory keeping, photography, and just making the most of today more than making cards that probably won't make it out of my room. That's okay though, I still love creating.

Blogs are like homes. You settle in one for a few years but then move because you need more space or it's just not working for you. Once you find the perfect place, you hang around a bit longer, loving it more everyday.

I'm here to tell you that I've started another blog. Blogging will always be a part of my life, I can't just stop. But sharing cards isn't the way I wanted to blog. I want to write about my life and all that goes on in it, more than just "here's my card and what I used to make it". In my new space, I have the freedom to write about anything I want.

And I'm not saying people who share their creations online aren't blogger. It's just not for me.
That's why this blog will now become a museum. A location where I've lived on the internet for the past four years. An archive of almost all the cards I've made up until that day in August. I'll always love this blog. But it's time to move on, you and I both know it.

I hope you'll understand and pay me a visit in my new home

(for old times' sake) Have a good day!

four years.

It's really been four years. This blog is in pre-school! Yeah! :) But really, you guys, the process of making cards, and sharing them with you has taught me a lot. Thanks.

Above is one of the first cards I ever shared with y'all. Oh, I remember those days.

hey foxy

Hey. I played around with my new Sakura Micro pen. I love it! I researched a doodle pen and found this one. Got it at Paper Source and have used it a bunch since then. :)

The only paper I used was from Basic Grey's June Bug paper pad. I actually really like this card and plan on sending it to my friend.

I'm entering this into the Anything Goes challenge at Rhedd and Rosie  and Divas by design as well as the cute, cute, cute challenge at LEJ Designs.

Thanks for reading.

you are sew awesome.

Bonjour!

I'm here with another card. I haven't made one in a while but inspiration struck. My cousin got me a stamp with a sewing machine handle and I immediately thought of a pun.

The papers are from Cosmo Cricket's Upcycle. I also got a Sakura Micro pen that I wanted to play around with. :)

I'm entering this into the Anything Goes challenge at Make it Monday and Rhedd an Rosie as well as the fancy edges challenge at Let's Craft and Create.

a realization

As a nerdy kid, I watch a bunch of YouTube videos on physics, biology, etc for fun. Recently, I watched a video about how the sun was going to explode, the earth would die, yada yada yada. But I already knew that.

The thing that freaked my out was the realization I was only gonna live for around 7 hopefully 8 more decades. The sun was gonna explode in a few billon. If I die naturally, I will probably have 29,200 days alive. I've already lived 4801 of them.

I had a wake up call-a bit early in my life though. I want to live each day to it's fullest and happiest.

So today, I just want to give a little reminder: no matter what, end your day happy!

a visit to the cherry blossoms

The sun was shining bright today so my family and I went to see the beautiful cherry blossoms at our state university.

There were more people than I've ever seen there. Lots of kids and lots of cameras.

Happy Easter to those who celebrate it and have a nice day.
