Mushroom + Tag card!

Hey guys!

Long time no post! I feel like it's been ages since my last one but I'm back! At least for the foreseeable future..

Today I wanna share with ya'll this card I made a while back. It's so weird how when I have the time to make something, my creative juices are running low but when I barely can sit down, ideas start pumpin' out! Odd, no? :)

So this card in particular is probably one of my more organized-clutter style card. It has some Tim Holtz paper, an obscure mushroom, buttons, leaves, pearls, and some interesting trim. :) And that tag, it pulls out to reveal a sentiment. I have never done this before. Like seriously. How do you let the receiver know about pockets or other things on your card?

Then I inked the base with some gray ink and stamped some bubbles from a misc. stamp set and that's it! I made this for the Catered Crop challenge which includes black, cream, red, green, pencils, circle punch, ribbon, pearls, layers and layers, and distressing! Also, Shimelle's crop challenges that I'm joining in on are pockets and tags!

Have a great Saturday guys! I'm off to do something unimportant!

rainbow watercolors...um...

Hey guys!

Quick post for ya!

I'm feeling more creative and I want to share with you all a card I made on my new desk! I got IT in white from IKEA! My room feels way smaller now!
The main watercolor pallet is from THIS printable by Wild Olive and the pattern papers are Making Memories. I stamped the sentiment with a Studio G alphabet set. Really fast but I absolutely love it!

Also, this card goes along with the challenge at Catered Crop which includes pattern paper.

Have a fabulous week!

A Pink Card!

{So, I was supposed to post this on World Cardmaking Day but... you can read about the situation in the post below!}

How's your weekend been?? Tonight, I'm gonna have my first concert with my school orchestra!! Super excited but first, I want to share with you all the card that I made today for World Cardmaking Day!!

This simple card took WAY longer than I thought it would be! I started with that pink DP and trying to follow Kristina's "rules", I tried to find some coordinating papers from my stash but I didn't find any that worked well so, I just grabbed some cardboard {moving = a whole lot of boxes!} and painted with a bit of white paint! I also added a bit of tissue paper in the background. I got some trim a while back from Recollections so I used that one the bottom part. The buttons and bobble are miscellaneous as are the papers! And, those flowers are some I made a few years ago when I was trying anything that looked like fun! I've also been thinking about adding a sentiment too. Any ideas? :)

Hope you all have a great weekend!

i'm here! {and with an update}

Hey peeps!

How's it going? It seems a bit quiet around here, no?  :) Here's a little update on what's been happening around here:

So I made a card; yes, I actually did. I took a photo, wrote the post{which was suppose to be posted on World Cardmaking Day} and then I realized that I didn't have the photo up-loader thing that I have to use to get the photo onto this post. humph.

I search the boxes that are still lying around in a spare room. And didn't find it. So today, since I don't have school today {whooooo!} I plan on doing a little research on where it could possibly be.

And, in school, during the past two weeks, I finished my first ever memoir{which I found out yesterday that there had to be an ellipse or I'd get marked down}, and completed a World Culture project along with a 3-5 minute presentation.

So, no school days seem to be more and more exciting now. And I hope you all have a wonderful day and I hopefully will be posting a card later{only if I find it, or I'll just leave you to imagine...} And!, and tell me how you like the new blog look!! I changed when I was bored {but that only lasted a few days, the works started shooting at me later.}
plus-I have been thinking about a little challenge sort of thing. It's called " Brighten Someone's Mailbox. Just a thought.

Hmm...seems to have a lot of of hoping in those days...:)

A Card and My First Day!

Hello guys!

So today, I had my first day of middle school and turns out, there's a lot more walking that I thought there would be! And the lockers, oh they are the most confusing things in the world! But hey, the 7th and 8th graders got it right? :) Also, some people had mixed up schedules so there were people coming in and coming out!  Bu-t, some good thing are that they have a lot of bathrooms, all of my teachers are great, and I see a lot of people I know and don't know!

Anyhoo, I wanna share with you a card that have I made just recently!

Now this card, it's already addressed and sent to one of my cousins that is just starting school! It wouldn't be really a "back to school" card but it still looks 'schooly'! The gems and flower are from Recollections and I used a doily punch from Martha Stewart!

And the challenges to enter in:
Catered Crop-flowers, sentiment, stamping ink, rhinestones/gems, use your own handwriting,
Pile it on- Anything that starts with B- Banner!

Remember this post? Well, we're moving!! I just got the green light and my parents are signing right now!! I'm so excited! Now my bus stop will hopefully not be 0.7 miles away!!

Hope you have a great rest of your week! :)
