The long winter days are over for us here but it's still cold! We haven't had much snow, but they say we might have a big one tonight!! Anyone have any free snow?! :D

At our local art store, my dad and I bought two stretched canvases and some Tombo Mono adhesive. I'm hoping  to try out painting but don't be expecting a masterpiece!! Just something fun to do but I haven't even decided what to paint yet but I'll keep you updated on that!

So, as you all probably must be waiting for, a card!!!

Mainly, the circles in the background took the most time on this card! I have these templates for different sizes of circles and colored them in! Stuck a DP on there and later, lots of time thinking. I adhered the DP on and I couldn't think of a sentiment! I was thinking of some small, white letter stickers to spell out something but I didn't have any so... I trimmed off a piece of CD and it look good. I wrote a simple "hello" and colored it. Cut a little triangle off to get a 'banner' look and adhered it on. I watched a video that said that clustering your embellishments would give them more potential so I tried it out! I think it looks pretty good! What do you all think?

Also, added some circles inside with the card but forgot to get a pic of it. I'm also hoping to get a stamp that says "Handmade by Iris" so I can stamp it on the back of all my cards! Any of you out there have any preference for a good, solid ink?

Last one!

.. for the week!

Well, the hop's almost over and this is my last inchie for the week! I'll be enjoying the weekend although it plans to be busy!

This is one of my favorites cause it's mixed media!! So, here's a few of the things {out of tons!} I used cardstock, wrapping paper, ink, some stamping, acrylic paint, stickers, and that's all I can think of right now! So, a whole lota stuff!! The challenge is anything goes so I think this'll fit right in!!!!! :)

Bugaboo Hop #2!

 Looks like blogger flunked today! I'm back home now~

   The week is almost over and by the time you read this, {hopefully} I will be on the bus to school! 

So, my second inchie for the hop is.....

The challenge was for a birthday so in the second photo, I added the 'happy b-day'!  Some scrap DP and a little drawing of a dude on a skateboard! Tied a little ribbon on the inside and there ya go!

I'll be posting another one of these tomorrow!!

First project for the Bugaboo Hop!

And so it is Monday, the start of another week, but hopefully we all get this holiday off for those in the U.S but those not, I hope this is an awesome week for ya!

As I have mentioned,  I will be posting the projects {inchies} I've made for the Bugaboo Birthday Hop!! So, th start with, here's the Monday project...

I used cardstock, little scraps and a little image I found after stamping a while back and included the challenge, blue and white! I hope this works cause as you can see, I have more than just those two colors!!!!

Real quick today but I'll be back soon this week!

An Update!!

I'm super excited about our 3-day weekend!! I hope to get crafty this weekend but I think I'll have to push it to Monday!! There have been so many things going on that I haven't had time to update my lonely blog!! 

The DT and I have been working to get you those challenges although it's going a bit slow with word from our sponsors! Those challenges will start at January 31st.

I've been following Bugaboo, a digi shop and, as many of you already know, they are turning 1!!! They also have a fabulous blog hop going on for the week!! They have challenges everyday with amazing prizes!!! 

I went a head and made some little inchies for their challenges! I found inchies and I've been making them with all my scraps!! Since they have only one day or so to enter and they gave the challenges out already, I will schedule a post for the days my little inches can qualify for.
