Just Another Post!

Hey everyone!!

I made this box the other day and was wondering, how should I close it? I was thinking about a ribbon handle but didn't have a wide enough ribbon for a brad. Any suggestions??

The box is made of white card stock and I just stamped a background with a Studio G stamp in gray and cut and scored it! The box was 7 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches tall. Here's a great tutorial on how to make it but with different dimensions and I didn't punch the hole. I colored in the ice creams from Lauretta's. Then I tied some ribbon to the front and tied a bow! I adhered it all together and added some glitter the ice creams.

Have an awesome day!!

  1. Cute box! I love it! Great job, Iris! If you had some thin elastic, you could put a button on the box and then make a loop of elastic on the other side and stretch the elastic over the button.

Or, ribbon on both sides and then tie the two pieces together in a bow, to keep the box closed.

  8. Well look at your entering all these challenges! Great job, I love how you colored Lauretta's ice cream cones. I'm trying to figure out what's best to close the box, does it have a flap, if it does you could possibly put velcro dots that have glue on the back. Good luck in your challenges Iris!
