A Cupcake Just for You

 Hello wonderful people!

I have a card once again to share with you and I was inspired by two things...
 
One- this layout that inspired the sketch that got the ball rolling..

and Two- this card of mine that I adore and inspired the main image.

I tried replicating that cupcake and I think I did okay!  The papers are all scraps but I'm pretty sure the vintage papers are Tim Holtz and the brights are Making Memories/Authentique.

And that arrow. Oh that arrow! Got it on my first try and love it. I've been seeing arrows all over the paper world too.


This card goes into the Anything Goes challenge (and kid's challenge)at Simon Says Stamp.

MSS Number Twelve

Hi there!


This week has been filled with parties. Birthday parties and reunion parties. :)


Yesterday, at one of those parties (which was at my house-had to do some cleaning before they arrived) I made something.

I made some new friends and met with some old friends. All over a game (about thirty) of Super Mario Bros. Brawl. I was Kirby (the third from the left that's all out of lives.) of course...*cough cough* you didn't know about that? Well now you do. :)

Hey!


I finally have a card to share with you guys!

This card uses paper and stickers from K&Co. as well as some Authentique paper and misc. stamps. Also, see that blue stuff? That's some Perfect Pearls brushed onto a thin layer of Mod Podge. 


The challenges for this card are the Anything Goes challenge at The Crafty Bloggers Network and The Scrapbooking Queen and the Animals challenge at Send A Smile 4 Kids.

MSS Number Eleven

Hey there!

It's been a fun week at my house! A friend is staying here and he has an adorable 6 year old son! I hope your week has been fun as well!

Anyhow, for this week's MSS, I want to share with you something that my friend gave me.

My friend came back from Taiwan and gave me this fun notebook and some other cute goodies! So, the cover doesn't really sense but I still love it! I am starting to use this notebook for ideas and everyday to do lists. And what's amazing, the cover (made out of cardstock) always falls flat no matter how many times you open it. :)

MSS Number Ten

Hi!

The sun has been shining a lot more around here except for the occasional thunderstorm. :) hope it gets warmer where you are! (unless it's crazy hot already)

For this week's project, I altered a post-it book (a spiral bound book of post-its of different sizes) I got a while back. The cover looked kinda bland so I added some paint and paper.

Had a lot fun with on this project and hope I can make more creations to share with you!

Frogs Think On a Cloud

Hi!

Hope you've all had a great week!

Yesterday, I had some mojo back and felt like doing some coloring. So, I made the middle wood-thing panel and then got stuck. I liked all the colors but didn't have any papers that went well so I slept on it. Then, this morning I chose a paper and finished the card!

I must say though, I kinda don't like this card a whole lot. It's okay in my book but definitely not one of my favorites.

This ain't (whenever I say or type that word, it's always in southern accent in my head) for any challenges cause it was for fun, fun, fun.

MSS Number Nine

Hope you all had a wonderful forth of July for those of you who celebrate it! For my family, today was the first weekday that both my parents stayed home. And since we got some bamboo for our backyard, we did some digging and planting!

We still went to see the fireworks although we could see some from our house too!

Remember those little plants I got in a previous MSS? Well I planted those two plants (duh)! Got that cute little pot too!
