MSS Number Ten

Hi!

The sun has been shining a lot more around here except for the occasional thunderstorm. :) hope it gets warmer where you are! (unless it's crazy hot already)

For this week's project, I altered a post-it book (a spiral bound book of post-its of different sizes) I got a while back. The cover looked kinda bland so I added some paint and paper.

Had a lot fun with on this project and hope I can make more creations to share with you!

Frogs Think On a Cloud

Hi!

Hope you've all had a great week!

Yesterday, I had some mojo back and felt like doing some coloring. So, I made the middle wood-thing panel and then got stuck. I liked all the colors but didn't have any papers that went well so I slept on it. Then, this morning I chose a paper and finished the card!

I must say though, I kinda don't like this card a whole lot. It's okay in my book but definitely not one of my favorites.

This ain't (whenever I say or type that word, it's always in southern accent in my head) for any challenges cause it was for fun, fun, fun.

MSS Number Nine

Hope you all had a wonderful forth of July for those of you who celebrate it! For my family, today was the first weekday that both my parents stayed home. And since we got some bamboo for our backyard, we did some digging and planting!

We still went to see the fireworks although we could see some from our house too!

Remember those little plants I got in a previous MSS? Well I planted those two plants (duh)! Got that cute little pot too!

Purple Thinking of You

Hi!

Summer has started around here and so far, nothing has happened. But we do have some road trips planned! Hope your summer is fun so far!

I got some inspiration from Jen McGuire and I CASed one of her cards! The purple and blue are watercolors, inks, and colored pencils. Pretty simple but really fun!

This card goes for Party Time Tuesday's and Tammy's Scrapin Corner's Anything Goes challenge.

MSS Number Eight

Hey gals!

Sorry I haven't been posting weekly cards! But I'm still keeping up with MSS! :)

This Friday was my last day of school! Ah! It went so fast and that day was also my friend's birthday! I filled a two- liter bottle with a card, a birthday banner, and other small items and I then added tissue paper and some ribbon!

I plan on visiting her house while she's on vacation and put it in her mailbox! (if it can fit) :)

MSS Number Seven

Hey guys!

So this week, in science class, we made rockets out of soda bottles and once I was done, I decided to fill it with goodies for my friend's birthday!

I made this to put onto a mini card to include in the bottle. Omg is something we say a lot so I thought it would be appropriate! I might show you guys the final product if I have time!

MSS Number Six

Hello!

This week's MSS showcases my obsession with watercolors! Ah!

So I stamped an image from Purple Onion Designs three times. The first one was stamped in black ink and colored with colored pencils. The second is stamped with purple ink an colored with a paint brush and ink pressed onto an acrylic block. For the last one, I used this technique using watercolors!

Hello Owl

Happy Saturday!

Today was a very exciting day! There are four levels of orchestra at my school and this year I was in the second highest! Our teacher told us that she would post ' the list' of who was where today. So, this morning I rushed to her class to see if she had posted the list yet. Turns out she posts news in the afternoons. And so, my friends and I spent the entire day panicking about which orchestra we got into!

But anyhow, today I found some inspiration from the decorations at a class party we also had today! Yep, today was an exciting day!

This card is pretty self-explanatory, I mainly used watercolors to color everything. Made this card under twenty minutes which is record for me!

Today, my mom and I went to a friend's house to pick some flowers and we got to pick some of these:

But for something I made, I made a little decoration/arrangement of the gorgeous flowers they had!

Sorry this week's MSS is kinda late! My family had a party with some of our friends and I got a cat-sitting job this summer!

This week, it was my friend's birthday so along with her present (and a card of course!) I made a little plushie toy!

She thought it was adorable and I do too!
