hey foxy

Hey. I played around with my new Sakura Micro pen. I love it! I researched a doodle pen and found this one. Got it at Paper Source and have used it a bunch since then. :)

The only paper I used was from Basic Grey's June Bug paper pad. I actually really like this card and plan on sending it to my friend.

I'm entering this into the Anything Goes challenge at Rhedd and Rosie  and Divas by design as well as the cute, cute, cute challenge at LEJ Designs.

Thanks for reading.

you are sew awesome.

Bonjour!

I'm here with another card. I haven't made one in a while but inspiration struck. My cousin got me a stamp with a sewing machine handle and I immediately thought of a pun.

The papers are from Cosmo Cricket's Upcycle. I also got a Sakura Micro pen that I wanted to play around with. :)

I'm entering this into the Anything Goes challenge at Make it Monday and Rhedd an Rosie as well as the fancy edges challenge at Let's Craft and Create.

Simple Office Supplies

Hi there!

I can't believe I haven't posted in two weeks! Gah!

Today I made two cards that are super simple! I needed to make a card set for someone who works really hard!

I'm thinking about adding another card to this set 'cause I tend to like odd numbers. :) I drew the first things that I think of when I think of office supplies. I used a ruler and it looks awesomer!

This works for the anything goes challenge at The Crazy Challenge and Send A Smile 4 Kids.

Have a great day!

MSS Thirteen: keep in touch rainbow.

Hello!

I'm feeling on a roll this week with all these cards! I have another one to share with you. Oh, and, did you know this was my 150th post? Oh yeah :)

This one took forever to make! I water-colored a rainbow onto a white card base then took another piece of card stock and cut some slits into it. Then I added a banner, a sentiment, and heart. I also added dots of glitter here and there. I really like this one, especially in the light that this photo does not do justice!

This card is for the kid's challenge over at Simon Says Stamp and the white challenge at Catered Crop!

Have a great day!

A Cupcake Just for You

 Hello wonderful people!

I have a card once again to share with you and I was inspired by two things...

One- this layout that inspired the sketch that got the ball rolling..

and Two- this card of mine that I adore and inspired the main image.

I tried replicating that cupcake and I think I did okay!  The papers are all scraps but I'm pretty sure the vintage papers are Tim Holtz and the brights are Making Memories/Authentique.

And that arrow. Oh that arrow! Got it on my first try and love it. I've been seeing arrows all over the paper world too.

This card goes into the Anything Goes challenge (and kid's challenge)at Simon Says Stamp.

Hope you all have the best day ever!

Thanks Green Bird

Hey!

I finally have a card to share with you guys!

This card uses paper and stickers from K&Co. as well as some Authentique paper and misc. stamps. Also, see that blue stuff? That's some Perfect Pearls brushed onto a thin layer of Mod Podge.

The challenges for this card are the Anything Goes challenge at The Crafty Bloggers Network and The Scrapbooking Queen and the Animals challenge at Send A Smile 4 Kids.

Hope you have an amazing week and see ya on Sunday!

Frogs Think On a Cloud

Hi!

Hope you've all had a great week!

Yesterday, I had some mojo back and felt like doing some coloring. So, I made the middle wood-thing panel and then got stuck. I liked all the colors but didn't have any papers that went well so I slept on it. Then, this morning I chose a paper and finished the card!

I must say though, I kinda don't like this card a whole lot. It's okay in my book but definitely not one of my favorites.

This ain't (whenever I say or type that word, it's always in southern accent in my head) for any challenges cause it was for fun, fun, fun.

Have a great week y'all! (there' that southern voice in my head again!) ;)

Purple Thinking of You

Hi!

Summer has started around here and so far, nothing has happened. But we do have some road trips planned! Hope your summer is fun so far!

I got some inspiration from Jen McGuire and I CASed one of her cards! The purple and blue are watercolors, inks, and colored pencils. Pretty simple but really fun!

This card goes for Party Time Tuesday's and Tammy's Scrapin Corner's Anything Goes challenge.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Hello Owl

Happy Saturday!

Today was a very exciting day! There are four levels of orchestra at my school and this year I was in the second highest! Our teacher told us that she would post ' the list' of who was where today. So, this morning I rushed to her class to see if she had posted the list yet. Turns out she posts news in the afternoons. And so, my friends and I spent the entire day panicking about which orchestra we got into!

But anyhow, today I found some inspiration from the decorations at a class party we also had today! Yep, today was an exciting day!

This card is pretty self-explanatory, I mainly used watercolors to color everything. Made this card under twenty minutes which is record for me!

I'm entering this card into these challenges:

Hope you have a great day!

Hello Friend Rosie

Hey there!

Today I wanna share with you a card I made using the latest MSS creation.

This card is pretty self-explanatory. The main image is Rosie from Purple Onion Designs. I also added the same paper on the inside and stamped the image and sentiment as well. This bunny is so cute!

Keep in Touch Rainbow

Hey there!

Had a creative slowdown this week and force myself to make a card! After I finished this card, a package of stamps from Purple Onion Designs came in the mail and now my head is full of ideas! I'll share the card that I'll make ASAP!

Inked up the background with a purple ink pad and stamped with the same ink this stamp over and over. Water colored a scrap with a rainbow, added a piece of patterned paper, and added my image and vola! And, the sentiment is from this set from my package of stamps as well!

I'm entering this card into Great Impressions' and Truly Scrumptious' Anything goes challenges.

Hope you have an amazing day and I'm off to play with my new stamps!

Thanks Pink Cupcake

Hey guys!

Sorry about not posting last week! Hope you are enjoying your Mother's Day!

Today I have a card share that I made a long time ago! I used some Tim Holtz papers for the background and some really old Making Memories paper for the stripes. The flower behind the cupcake is from Hero Arts and I stamped it in some red ink. The rhinestones in the corners are from Recollections.

And you may notice that, what's that surrounding the card? Oh yeah, snow! No no, there isn't snow here in the Pacific Northwest but like I said, this card was made a long time ago!

Thanks for joining me!

Just For You, It's a Bear with Dandelion!

Hey hey!

Keeping with my post-something-at-least-once-a-week goal, I have another card to share with you!

This time, I was inspired by the talented Alice Wertz and I was inspired by how her main image thing took up most of the card with a sentiment and some patterned paper! So that's what I did, or tried to do! Love this card but the photo doesn't do it justice!

I drew something bigger than usual and adds a sentiment piece. I covered the base with some DP and added some pink brads to the corners. Added a bit of ribbon and that's it!

This is good for Catered Crop's "b" challenge ( there is blue, a bear, brads, and a butterfly!) and

Have a great day and I'll be back with something new!

Smile Robot!

Happy Sunday!

Today I wanna share with you a card that I made yesterday!

It uses some patterned paper from the awesome Patti J. and some seam binding from JLJ Designs. Main image is a doodle {with some glitter, of course) and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. Feeling okay about this one but not too excited.

And this goes for the challenge at Catered Crop which is to use something with the letter "b". There's blue, bling, and a border! And Just Keep on Creating's anything goes challenge.

Also, thought it would be fun to show y'all everything that's around the card!

Have a good day and I'll see you guys soon!

Easter Chick Thanks You!

Hello hello!

I have a card to share with you today that for some reason, it took me forever to complete!

Used Tim Holtz paper for the background, Authentique for that middle strip and more playing around with the sewing machine! Got some fabrics a while back and can't wait to make something when I have the time! Any ideas? :)

That's all for the card and it works for Oozak's anything goes challenge, Catered Crop's brads challenge, and Lawnscraping's coloring challenge!

Have an amazing day and happy April!

Happy, You Are the Best Pink+Bling!

Hey hey!!

How's your week going? For some reason, I felt like today was Monday. That is not good, not good indeed. And now to show you the card I made he day before yesterday!

I tried something different for this card with using the sentiment as the focal point and I love it! I used American Crafts and My Mind's Eye rub-ons , E. bling, plus, I did my first sewing on a card! Eek! So fun and it kinda ripped but...I covered it! :)

This card was for Catered Crop's sewing challenge, The Pixie Cottage's pastels challenge, and Simon Says Stamp's a bit of green challenge (it truly is just a tad bit of green- if you can't tell, the word "funny" is green!

Thanks for dropping by!

Thanks Confetti TV

Hello everyone!

Hope you're having a wonderful week!

Trying to keep with the post-every-week resolution, I have a card to share with you today!

I tried something different this week and that was using some cellophane from packaging and making a shaker with it. I punched some circles out of some patterned paper and added it to the little pocket along with some Flower Soft. I drew a tv, cut out the screen, and glued the pocket on the back! It was super fun and the papers on the card are from Authentique.

This card is for Catered Crop's ribbon challenge and The Pink Elephant's more then three layers challenge!

Have an awesome rest of the week!

Green Chevron Butterfly Cage

Hey!!

Hope you're having a fabulous weekend! Today, I have a card to share with you!!

I painted some chevrons in the background and drew a stitched box. I stamped this little rose/fern/grass stamp repeatedly to create a border in the middle. I drew a bird cage and cut out some butterflies, tied a bit of twine and that's it!

I was inspired by the Sweet Stop sketch

Thanks for joining me today!
