My first ATC!

Hey everyone!
Hope your having a great week {plus} happy first day of summer!
I had my promotion on Friday!{sort of like a graduation and I got a certificate too!}And today is my last day of 5th grade+elementary school!
For now though, I'm just exploring with some new stamps I got! I'll be sharing another one soon but here's what I got for today!

A close up!

I tried my hand at an ATC! I used a stamp by Studio 112 and layered with DP from my stash and dimensionals! And two little beads with Mod Podge. Here's a tip: I didn't have any glitter so I used a little bit of glittery nail polish and gave it a light shiny-ness!

Have a great day!

Challenges:
Catered Crop blue, nature, and beads.

Jellyfish Smile!

Hello everybody!

Hope your enjoying this sunny weekend! Just a quick post for me!

Down below is a card I made recently and I was playing around with layers{as you might see :)}!
The papers are miscellaneous and I drew that jellyfish! The sentiment is from Hampton Art's Kelly's Sentiments! I also used  a border punch by Martha Stewart, doily lace! One of my favorites!{could you tell?} And I learned that when layering, the same base color{mine was blue} really makes thoe whole thing tie together!
The card follows these wondrous challenges:
Top Tip Tuesday-Tip (above)
My Mum's Craft Shop-Punches
Cratered Crop- blue, green,

Have a great weekend! I'll be doing nothing but enjoying the sunshine and a soccer game later today!

Rose Hello!

Hey everyone! I've got another card to share with you today! {told ya I was crafting!}

I'd say that I knew it looked sorta vintage right when I started but I didn't! Only when I started writing{typing} this post, I realized that it looked a bit old! Those stars were made from a stencil and the flower in the middle of the card was a lot of squiggles! I have no clue was the main image should be on it and I pondered this even though I didn't think that this card was  even a bit vintage! What do image or sentiment do you usually pick for your vintage cards?

Also, I was told { thanks Patti!} that Simon Says Stamp had a challenge for kids! So I'm entering in that and if you know anyone under 16 that likes to craft, tell them about it!

I'm also entering in the open challenge at Top Tip Tuesday!

Hope you have a fab day! ( I'm thinking about ice cream on this partly cloudy day!:)

{Spring Smile} & Bulldog Thanks!

Hey! How are you enjoying this fabulous Wednesday? I'm enjoying my week without school!! Nothing much though.

Since I got a whole day to do things this week, I've been crafting my way though the time!
This bookmark was just a scrap of patterned paper when I found it! I paperpieced the little birdy and layered the top and bottom with strips of more patterned paper! I also punched some of those papers with the doily lace border punch by Martha Stewart. Some awesome yellow sting too! I had the springness in my head! This was for the recipe challenge at Catered Crop and I used: Striped DP,twine, and SPRING!! And also at Top Tip Tuesday, it's an open challenge!

I'm just gonna say that this is for my teacher! I used lots of different colors of spray that I put in a Mini Mister and put a loads of color on it! The bulldog is from a stampset by Inkadinkado!
Have a fabulous day!!
p.s. Scroll down for our current challenge!

Some News...

How's everyone doing?! It's been rainy and cloudy over here but the sun peeks out now and again!!

Next week is my spring break so hopefully I get some crafting in!

I am taking writing classes and today I got back one of my personal narratives from about two weeks ago!! My teacher loved it and showed it to one of the other teacher that I don't know! I wanted to share it with you since my writing rarely is really good to the teacher! Our topic was to write about a time when we made an important discovery! Tell me what you think about it!

Grapefruit
I scanned the aisle again. There were bananas, apples, and grapes. I was to pick which I wanted for my snack next week. I decided to see which I would enjoy the most throughout the week. It was a tough competition between the apples and bananas, so I took the sack of grapes.
As I headed for our shopping cart, I noticed my mom holding a bag of "oranges". I soon read the label and knew it was grapefruit. My mom insisted that grapefruit was tasty and good for my health. I had never tried grapefruit, so I loaded it into our cart and kept on shopping.
This fruit seemed oddly peculiar. It did not look like a grape, but it was still a fruit! It also was shaped and colored very similar to an orange. I guessed that it would be in the orange "family" because it looked similar, but I also thought it might taste similar too!
When we arrived home, the first thing my mother did was open the pack of grapefruit. She took out a knife and started to cut slices of grapefruit. Then, when she offered me a slice, I was shocked! Inside, the fruit wasn't orange like I predicted, but pink! It seemed very mysterious, so I took an enormous bite out of my slice. A sour taste flooded my mouth. No matter how hard I tried, the sourness was still unwilling to leave my taste-buds! I sat down, not taking another bite. "Doesn't this taste great?" asked my mom after she ate a few slices.
I tried to register her opinion but I couldn't get myself to agree. Then, surprisingly, a tiny bit of sweetness appeared in my mouth but as fast as it came, it went. Now, I have a new food to my list of foods I don't like. I had made an important discovery; I don't like grapefruit!

Have a great weekend!
